About

Built to help people notice skin concerns sooner.

"Skin to AI. Insight to You."

Skinvest is an AI-powered skin triage platform — built to help people understand skin concerns earlier and decide when to seek dermatological care. We are SAHPRA-licensed as a Class B Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).

SAHPRA Class B SaMD · Triage tool, not a diagnostic platform

Sienna Klipp

Co-Founder

Co-founder of Skinvest, with a background in dermal aesthetics and skin health. Sienna's perspective on skin care, client experience, and inclusivity has shaped how Skinvest communicates and how we think about every skin tone we serve.

Clinical oversight

Backed by practising dermatologists.

Skinvest works alongside an active clinical advisory group of practising dermatologists who consult on triage refinement, content review, and inclusivity considerations.

Practising dermatologists

Active clinical advisors guide our triage logic and educational content.

Content reviewed

Educational material is reviewed for clinical accuracy and clarity.

Inclusivity oversight

Skin-tone diversity and Fitzpatrick coverage are continually evaluated.

SAHPRA pathway

Operated under regulated medical-device standards as a Class B SaMD.

Out of respect for our advisors' privacy, we do not publish their names. Clinical credentials, scope of work, and correspondence with regulators are available on request to qualified parties.

Our story

Where vision meets care.

"If image classification can recognise tens of thousands of objects, why can't it help people catch skin concerns sooner?"

Roscoe is a computer scientist whose work on AI and computer vision led him to that question. Sienna brought the missing half — hands-on skin-health experience, and a sharp instinct for what real users actually need.

Together, with input from practising dermatologists, we set out to build a triage tool — not a diagnostic shortcut, but a way to bridge the gap between noticing a concern and getting in front of a specialist. Skinvest is SAHPRA-licensed as a Class B Software as a Medical Device, operated under regulated medical-device standards.

Skinvest is a partnership between deep tech and deep care — designed to make high-quality dermatological insight more accessible, wherever you live and whatever your skin tone.
